2011 Connect PATS Issue

Hi All,
I have a 2011 Connect mk1, Took it off the road for maintenance both timing belts and general tidy up and service, connected the battery back up and now its got the pats on,
I have had a locksmith out and he cant get it to register the key transducer for the pats, on the dash diagnostics it says no keys registered also,
is there any way around this, i have heard this can be removed, this has been off road a while and really need the connect back on the road rather than my bigger mk7 transit.
any help or drawings would be appreciated

Sorry not familiar with your system, because i have an earlier connect, not answered as i was expecting our guru on this: altransit to answer, as sorry, this subject doesn't hold much interest for me.

But if you search here .. there is plenty of info on this problem, as same systems fitted to all transits after a certain date

Hope this helps .. some results not related to "no keys" .. but adding them, but all good, as it should give you an idea how things work and what can go wrong.
