Hi just wondering if any body else has a problem with there clock, i have an 06 '06' connect and the clock loses time. Taken it to 2 dealers who dont know whats wrong.

Is it the one in the instrument cluster?
I miss my 'courtesy van'............140 Glx..now a Jumbo :(

Lots of problems with the clusters, most likely that :?:

Ill get another dealer to look at and suggest it could be a faulty cluster.

mine does it as well. Also you cant get the trip meter up was told when it was in warrenty there was no cure, was at another dealer having the mk7 sorted and mentioned it to him and told its common fault which dont help as its now on 160,000 miles that what lets Fords down the backup, they also said theres a recall on the front wheel bearings anyone know if this is the case ?

There is a recall to replace the 2 front wheel bearing, the number is 7S091, if you want to send me your chassis number, I can check to see if it is needed :D

hi
mine also looses time,and sometimes if you try to open the load bay it locks straight away??

does this wheel bearing recall cover 53 year models???

The recall was for build dates from 4/6/2005 to 19/7/2005 so yours should be ok :D but if you want to PM me your chassis number I can check to see if there is any other outstanding recalls for you :wink:

The load bay locking, is the rear plylined or got any racking? as this is the most common problem with screws going through wiring looms!!
