Lack of power

Started a new topic,been through everything,pump saying timing out of range, checked timing static ok,put small electric pump in line and a clear pipe,all pipes bypassed from the large feed pipe that runs front to back, without pump running i have small air bubbles in the system when engine is running, put pump on and I have air serges,turn engine of but pump still running no air,no signs of leaks and a full tank of fuel,thoughts are welcome.Regards Tim

I think it sounds like a internal fault with the pump, did you use clear pipe on the return? if so was there any air in that?

Hi didn't put clear on return as run out of pipe,where would the air come from,that is going into the pump,regards Tim

Where was you connecting the pipe to at the rear? was it push fit or jubilee clip round it?

all pipes were jubilee ,the large feed pipe(steel) at bulk head was the starting point, through filter onto pump, Cheers

If you can get a long length, it will be worth doing it from the tank and see if there is air in it (process of elimination unfortunately) or have a seperate supply (can in passenger seat) and see if it makes any difference
