yeh thats very true, focus is basically the same lump isnt it? ive already thought about the focus but only tried to get a ready made de-cat ! will ring around again tommoz, and see whos got some focuses in then i can have a gander this wknd, i dont mind cutting mine open and getting on with it !! its just if i cock it up which is normally the case  id rather do it to a old one and keep mine which i know is the correct fitment and works fine :D

I did get a quote of £250+vat because the canister is straight onto the flange and would need a one off flange machined before any pipe fab :( the exhaust guys suggested just cut the innards out for ease and price :) depends how much for a second hand one in the first place really!plus im not sure how having a empty canister then going into ehaust would effect the gasflow as to say a straight even diameter pipe i cant remember if you need some backpressure or not after the turbo :? its being a while sinse my turbo days :D

Most decent exhaust places should have turbo flanges on the shelf.
