Yes, slamlocks mean that everytime you shut the door it locks and you need the key to open it, but only from the outside as the handle inside will still work as normal.

Its made me think about my two connects now - one was broken into last year but it was during the day and they smashed the drivers door glass and nicked stuff from the glove compartment.

I have noticed this company in a franchise magazine the other day. It caught my eye as they had a transit connect door handle in their ad.

i need to get a cat1 alarm fitted as part of my tool cover etc for me van, anyone know of any good ones, was thinking bout a clifford one or something but you pay alot of money for these?

get yourself a vanvault if your carrying tools
the red ones go faster...

good advice - my scanners are all locked in a van vault - and the van has independant deadlocks and an alarm etc etc

i think aspart of my insurance tho if it aint got a cat1 alarm then i aint covered, will prob get a vault anyway but still need n alarm
