Got my connect today took it for a 10 mile drive all ok, but when i looked under the engine there was a few blobs of oil where the clutch bell housing meets the engine, looks like engine oil not gearbox oil, is this common? or do i have a problem? Help!!!!! Rob.

In general engine terms (i'm no expert on the connect!)

this can be a problem, its usually the crankshaft oil seal. Its a gearbox out job to replace so huge amount of work and if not fixed can contaminate the clutch.

Keep an eye on it and make sure its definately from the joint. When you say a few blobs do you mean its dripping a few drips in a short time when you stop? Mines slightly damp but never seen it dripping out!

Other people might have better news and opinions :D
