Postby matthew » Wed Aug 02, 2006 12:21 pm

Hi

Having sold the transit 350 120ps im now looking for a smaller van about the connect size. does anyone know anything about what may go wrong or what to look for whe buying one as im off to look at one with 100k on the clock but has full ford history, when does the belts need to be changed?

Thanks in advance
Matt

Ive seen a fair few for sale in the auto trader, fairly cheap too for new vans (some 3 years old). Seen a few at £3000-£4000, not too high mileage. Nice vans, havent heard anything bad about em.

as far as i know there are 2 types of diesel engines fitted the tddi and tdci both are good engines the tdci is if you want abit more power! the engines are ford focus and are fantastic engines! i beleave the tddi is belt driven and the tdci is chain! :)
