Guys just to let you know i am listing a stainless steel exhaust from a connect tddi mk1 on Ebay but it doesnt fit.
Needs to have a bespoke de cat made for it and alot of messing with hangers etc to stop all the banging and noises.
WARNING THIS DOES NOT FIT A CONNECT

Sorry to hear this DB.
Was this the exhaust you bought from someone on this forum that did not fit?
I was going to buy it, with the member telling me 'there was nothing wrong with it'. Glad I never bought it.
If it was I'd go back round and ask for your money back and failing that put it through their windscreen.
Shameful behaviour. The forum is about helping people not ripping them off.

Can we name and shame on this forum?

Heard you was thinking of buying this. Was only till after i bought it that i heard the news that you had been put off.
Yes it was from a member on here. Bad purchase.

Yes G-man he knows problems and fact its no good.
Going to have to fork out for a new one so with buying old one, cost of making it longer to try and fit with de cat is a wasted £215

Guys, you're welcome to name and shame but i'm ok to put my hands up and say that it was purchased from myself.

As you all know it came straight off of my van, and has been fitted to it for around a year with no problems until lowering which is why I changed it.

I have no idea why it didn't fit your van as when it was fitted to mine it was in first time with the hangers in the correct place, I understand that the de-cat pipe was different and I apologised for that as I was on the understanding it was the same which we've now learnt wasn't.

Sorry to go off track completely, BUT.

Hook Hampshire!

We were down there late last year staying in a lovely PUB / MOTEL on the High Street, helping to move my son from Odiham (RAF).

Anyway, at 2.30 early hours, the bl00dy fire alarms went off and we were stuck on the car park for an hour... :twisted:

That's my main memory of Hook.. other than that it's a lovely place..
