rear door handle, intermitant problem

started happening today. unlocked the van and went to open the rear doors, the door felt like it wasnt unlocked, but if i went to the side door and looked at the inside of the door while locking/unlocking, i could see the rear door locking and unlocking.

tried again a while later and it opened fine, then i got home, tried again and took quite a few attempts to open.

whats the damage?

£90 for a new latch/lock off ebay??

hate to bump this soon but without access to the rear door i cant really do much work without paying for delivery and passing the cost onto the client. most clients ask me to do the delivery to save some money.

also, with tools shelved over the side door, there isnt quite enough room for me to get in for access to my ladder, tresssels and stool. i can get my head in and stretch, but cant get the chest in to reach tools tied up at the other side of the van.
