Loss of power to my 2007 transit connect

Postby Atthlete » Mon Sep 17, 2012 9:34 pm

I was driving and all of a sudden I list power and my can will only run at 3-5mph
I took it to a so called diesel specialist and he said it would properly be the fuel injectors
Now he's had them checked and found they are ok, at £100
Cost to me!!!
Now he says it's the fuel pump?!?!
I feel I'm paying not for his experience but for his guesswork
So I owe £160 a week on, no van and having to turn plumbing work down!!!
Any ideas since I don't trust him now.
Thanks. Darrenjwatson@me.com

I'm not a mechanic but from reading the forum the accelerator pedal is a common issue..... Might be worth a look/search

Hope u get it fixed
