Access to central fuse box.

Postby roythegrass » Thu Oct 04, 2012 8:07 pm

’05 Transit Connect TDCI LX LWB

Collected the van from the dealer yesterday.

I can’t access the central fuse box. According to the handbook access is gained by folding the glove compartment down to reveal the fuses but the illustration shows the glovebox opened lower than the normal open position. I don’t seem to be able to fold the glovebox below the normal open position. Is there a knack to this or am I missing something ?
Thanks
Roy

There are two rubber retaining tabs at the back of the glove box; if you squeeze the back edges together it will drop open so you can access behind it
