Iam busy rebuilding a TDCI engine at the mo and was reading on a forum a few days ago ( can't remember which one ) about the importance of the injection pump timing and how the pump can also give you immobiliser probs. do a search for a diesil specialist called diesil bob.

yeh ive done a leak off test and all bottles were around the same level

the timing should be ok as weve had the van running a few times with towing it but it cuts out when you drive it about 5 metres
