New member with a question

Postby daveronimo » Fri Oct 12, 2012 3:18 pm

Hi guys, just joined up here and it looks to be a useful resource.

I have bought grey focus st seats to fit in my 2011 transit connect as the standard ones are so woeful! I have been looking around on here and it looks like there are 2 different ways to fit them, can anyone suggest what is the favoured way?

I see one option involves steel boxing and welding and the other one uses unistrut. The thing I am unclear on is that some posts suggest that the seat needs to move off the centre of the mounts by a bit to go centre on the wheel.

As you will see, I am slightly confused, is there a writeup anywhere? Or can someone help me with this in central Scotland?

Okey dokey, how can I order some of these plates and how much are they?

Thanks for the responses, I'm looking forward to not going around every roundabout in the passenger seat...

I've tried to reply to my PM from VALETECH but I can't see a reply button. Is there a reply button that I'm missing?

No reply box, do I get one if I post more or something?
Struggling to get in contact with valetech to arrange to buy these plates, would welcome a message with details of how to buy them.

Probably because you dont have enough posts yet so PM not available? Have you tried to contact Paul via Mod Your Transit website http://mod-your-transit.co.uk/
