dead dials now fixed

i posetd a while back about my dials all turned off , i had a diagnostics check and was told the module was faulty and needed replacing at a cost of about £180, on ebay you can get one for £80 or plus fitting , so i undone 6 screws altered the steering adjustment wiped off what looked like milldew and put it back together , hey presto , worked and now i love my connect again, i was worried that nothing would work without the clocks on but it all did so there you go if i can do it anyone can
