Hi all can anybody advise me on where is the best position on a back bumper of a transit connect to
Mount ( drill ) holes for sensors ?? I was looking at the possibility of the top plasic piece front of course .

Pretty sure they go in the metal bumper part below the plastic trim, not sure if you've searched but there's been a few people who have installed the factory fitted items or a reversing camera.

I put mine in the plastic bar for the sake of ease... I didn't fancy trying to find the right angle mounts to put it in the metal bumper as it faces slightly downwards and would be useless if you were reversing on a slope mounted straight in!
Be warned though; you still have to drill through metal mounting them in the plastic

The rear parking sensors I fitted on my connect was the Ford Factory Kit (Bosch Parkpilot)

I have did all the wiring and set up , I've not drilled the holes yet as I'm getting paint done .
I'm going to go with the plastic edge I think .. GKandR4CH can you remember what wire to tap onto ??

I soldered mine directly onto the lamp holder metal. I found that easier to do as I didn't have any scotch locks to cut directly into the limited cable length there
