snapped engine mount cast retainer on block

i have an ex bt 2004 200L NEARLY DONE 50000 MILES today the alloy mount from the block 4 bolts onto the engine mount snapped shearing 2 bolts and breaking free from the lower retaing bolts leaving the alloy still connected on the lower 2 retaining bolts has this happened to any one else? now got to drill out 2 broken threaded bolt tops from block near water pump never heard of this happening before is this a first? van drove perfect before just had its mot !
