hi has anyone fitted a snorkel to their transit connect? if so where and how much was it,also what does it look like?

snorkel to me means high exit exhaust, like you'd get on a jeep or something

I'm not sure that would be of any use on a Connect, or any modern diesel, because once the water covers the engine electrics, then it will die

Think you mean intake. The water doesnt really get chance to get into the exhaust with all the air coming out

you are right but would stop engine sucking up water and wreaking the engine if you went through a deep puddle? as the floods we are getting @ present!

I've fitted one to my land rover but think it'd look funny on anything else

Cold air feed,like so !!
If you go through water any higher than that,then as stated above a whole host of electrical failure will be its downfall
