hi has anyone fitted a snorkel to their transit connect? if so where and how much was it,also what does it look like?

snorkel to me means high exit exhaust, like you'd get on a jeep or something :?:

I'm not sure that would be of any use on a Connect, or any modern diesel, because once the water covers the engine electrics, then it will die :(

Think you mean intake. The water doesnt really get chance to get into the exhaust with all the air coming out :D

you are right but would stop engine sucking up water and wreaking the engine if you went through a deep puddle? as the floods we are getting @ present!
as the post has anyone fitted one?

I've fitted one to my land rover but think it'd look funny on anything else :?

Cold air feed,like so !!
If you go through water any higher than that,then as stated above a whole host of electrical failure will be its downfall
