Ello

Im looking at powder coating my 18's white soon , and don't really want to be off the road for too long, plus i need some way of getting the tires off my rims ..then take the rims to powder coating place .. and reverse once complete.

Do any of you know where i can get a real cheap set of steel wheels with legal tires on ...

or would anyone be willing to loan me a set for a week or so ???

any help would be welcomed

Howdy...

Well , money is a big thing .. to get my van to that ( without a respray / wrap ) is going to cost me in excess of 3k ...

St seats have cost me £450 ( until i sell the rest of the interior )
lowering it will cost around £400
colour coding around £500
uprated discs all round £250 - £400 with pads
Stripes - £100
Angel headlights - £250 ( ish )
White wheels ( powder coating ) £250
FATMAT interior £300
android car stereo - £500
complete interior flock £500

that's without the money i have spent so far on stuff , and still have to spend on the interior , and to top all that off im married and have to convince the wife that all this is a great idea ... lol

I get what your saying about different ... If money were no object ..then my van would look a lot different with a lot of custom parts .. but that's exactly my point .. money is somewhat of an object so im trying to use what I have to the best i can.

Personally i think when my van is " finished " it will look very cool , and you wont see another one the same ..

I have ... thats just a rough quote on paint .. might turn out to be a little less...

but none the less ... still a costly project ... I only paid £7.5 k for my van ... to throw another three at it ..and remain married is gonna be a tricky road ... lol

I'm in Grimsby but travel around a fair bit. Wheel could do with a lick of paint but have two good and two ok tyres. How does £100 sound?
