the old:

and the new:

I fitted LED sidelights, but they appear to be rather blue as opposed to white as described.

Now the new badge makes the paintwork look even worse! So I need to price a respray.
Also been looking at new seats and steering wheel.

Any one know the paint code for the metal rear bumper?

Well my Rear Parking Sensor kit arrived today,

Bought from ebay from a company thats claim this was a complete kit via main dealer !

Not happy though, yes it's from main Ford dealer - (Ford Finis 1504360), but missing installation instruction, sensor holders & the crucual Diagnostic Plug (Resister) !!!!!

Without the Diagnostic Plug (Resister) the module is stuck in diagnotic mode !! - Unfortunateky EMG Ford do not supply this part seperately

Reguarding the sensor holders, thats not a problem as I can get the proper connect ones from ford for £2 each 8)
& instructions, I just Check the Ford TIS easy

This is the kit below, it is also fitted to Focus / Mondeo / Fiesta / Ka & suprisingly also fitted to some Vauxhall's as well.

Although mine wasnt Fords, the sensors fit the connect holders, and are more attractive IMO and was very easy to install, and came with a small screen/display for the sided distance and built in bleeper for less than £50!

I just waiting for seller to get back to me at the moment, I have asked for a replacement if possible.

May I ask what parking sensor kit are you using ??

Although I do have a Brand new Ford X-Vision Parking sensor kit (Ford Finis 1420032) which I was going to fit to my sisters car (but she sold her car before they were fitted)

I did think about fitting them to my connect, But the Sensors are 22mm & don't think they will fit connect sensor holders :?:
The sensor holes on the genuine new rear bumper I have are 30mm :? :?

This one. The holes are 30mm on the bumper then you have to buy the collars from ford, then these just clipped perfectly into those...

Perfect got a refund on the Ford Bosch Parkpilot rear parking sensor kit !

Don't you just hate it when you buy a complete kit only to find parts missing :( :(

Well another mod done.

Fitted the column stereo controls. Very easy to do did not have to change the column cowls, just cut a small hole where the controls push through & clip onto the column switch bracket.
There was only 2 wires ( bk/wh & ye/gn) to connect up to stereo, which was easy as the Ford quadlock connecter had these 2 cables already attached ! So I connected them up to the control switch cables.

Controls work perfectly, I can also select the Aux input, cd or radio via column controls.

Here is the pinout diagram for the Ford quadlock stereo connector - found on connects 2006 onwards
