are you mad?

most breakers yard would not just sell you the top cup, they will make you buy a whole leg.saying that it will be cheaper to do any way as that item on the bay is £15.00 each.
you can buy a whole leg for around that

you are right, just bought 2 legs for £10 each =- thanks for the info.

so i've got everything now to lower the front.

A pal of mine is welding the plates on the rear axle so i can lower the rear.

So when i get the van back from the bodyshop next week (Performance Blue colour change) then i'll sort out the lowering, pics will follow.

cheers

Andy.

Just been looking under the back of the van, If you lower the back by putting the axle on top of the springs do you need to make any alterations to the load sensing valve bracket on the axle?

In what way, what sort of modification do you have to do ?

EDIT :

4.After lowering it you need to adjust the brake load compensater to the end PIC 2 as the valve thinks the van is fully loaded and the brakes become quite sharp. If you have ABS Ignore this.

On my old froggy hot hatches i'd mark the load sensing valve first then adjust it back to that mark once i'd lowered it :D
