I've not looked into this stuff but if it anything like what I use on customers cars (autosmart trim ultra)
You need to make sure its 100% clean and dry or it won't stick.
Also once applied trims/ vehicle can not get wet or used for 24 hours.

Yes but only works as a dressing.washes/wears off very quickly

What's the best thing to make sure the plastics are clean panel wipe?

I have used it Paul and its very good stuff,(it is only small bottles but give it ago and see what you think) as for the 24 hour thing this isn't like that it will take a couple of hours to dry. Clean and dry yea for sure but I'd say that goes without saying on a product of this nature.

been using autoglym bumper/trim gel on mine recently and am well happy with the results.

easy to put on and creates a waterproof seal on your trim so water just beads and runs off it.. also means the first time it rains it wont just wash off your handy work.

the difference was amazing.

Go to a £1 shop and buy the Carplan black to black only stuff that works lol i keep spraying them they will go black after a bit don't wipe it but not too much spray or it runs :)
