Hi Mark, today im going to check if i see somsthing or test something with forscan. I also have the thinkcar car scanner, maybe that one sees something wrong.

If I do not get this fixed the normal way I will fix this myself. i will buy thick wire and use the relays that are now in the car ta make my own timed module with a button inside.
I will install also heated mirrors when am ar it... one button that does it all and shuts down with a timer.
If i have to bring the car for maintenance to Ford for this problem, this is going to cost alot of money...

About the google drive, I will do that and I will provide the share link here... will do this later today.

one thing first .. disconnect battery for 30 mins .. see if it does a reset on the modules ..

see if that sorts it first

I found out that my battery is pretty weak also... maybe that also has something to do with it...
at low volt that the PCM says high demand in power things are shut down...
ive orderd a 80amp hour batterij cold start 850 amps AGM battery.

that's because in the options you did not put share with everyone

we will see what i have to go through, nothing so far ... my google account email hasnt been used for years and ive lost the password if it asks me for it ..so

that may be a good thing though .. as stops ebay sellers etc downloading it and selling .. and manual sites selling it to others, as they cant be bothered going through that.

i just change the file name and .. so no one finds it from the net and press share with all, with a link here ...... if you want you could just share the link if someone asks .. as this place is open to the net .

should be a file links section here, with members only access, if you ask me .

there is a section in my driver ive just found called "shared with me" maybe it will appear there when you ok it . .. ive, funny, just found several vids that have been shared that did not know about ... transit related from the last couple of years ,... sorry to ones that sent them to me .. i just didn't know

if your battery is low all the electronics will play up ,, that's when it cant supply over 11.5 volts or something like that.
alternator may be a smart one .. voltage reading can vary from just 12.5 volts... meaning not charging to 17... and hard to diagnose .. well hard for me .

Just for testing, I flattened a copper tube with a hammer, just wide enough to match the relay contacts.
Then I made a jumper from it and plugged it into the relay contacts in the fuse box under the hood.
Guess what? The heating works perfectly, but the relay doesn't get the command to turn on from
where it's supposed to get the command from...

the windshield heated up and i heard the engine work a little harder.

well i think there is maybe is another relay in the box that is the same, try swapping them over to see if that does anything.

hi Mark,
The relay works, ive tested it already. pulled it out and tested it whit a bench power suply. also swapped the relay with the rear window heating relay.
The relay just does not get the command to turn on.
Im going to wait when maybe that new more powerfull AGM battery fixes it...
if it does not fix the issue, there is always a plan B

Maybe the car checks state of battery before starting and if its to weak it wil not allow to turn on the windowheating

Mark, I'll let you know if the new battery made any difference...
If it didn't work, I'll tell you what my plan B is.
