I have done that and alternator is charging, all be it a bit high. When the headlights are on and the alternator light is also on the lights pulse slightly. When the light goes out the lights are bright and steady.
Anyone know where the alternator cables go after entering the loom below the bonnet lock?
They seam to go under the battery carrier and up to the fuse box behind the air filter but could go through the bulkhead to the fuses behind the glovebox or anywhere else.
I intend to renew the cables from source to alternator.
Any help would be great.

Just got one from the stealers £24 quid !!! mine been on since 2006 November
So hopefully this will cure my problem

If not time for an alternator :cry: :cry:
