LOL - i know but i had it give me brand new so chucked it in the van (prob wont even use it) - we use a Megs G220 and looking at the porter cable at the min as a second one

i have a porter cable at the moment as well as a makita rotary polisher

if i was you i wouldn't have a g220 and a pc because you aint really going to get a full paint correction on a bmw or a merc with pc or g220 you will nedd a rotary polisher harder to master but twice as effective and quick !!

get a makita you wont regret it !!!

i used a place called - carpet right - was the 2.99 sq meter stuff and was the thin(ish) cord type with a thin foam backing for grip and easy to shape - was stuck down with normal spray glue

comes in black - beige - blue

we looked into a few Hoovers, my mother has an henry and its not to bad but we wanted something stronger and found the numatic in the Ad-mag brand new at £40 - bargin and he had a few of them -

if your looking at the same, there very good hoovers and suction is super strong, its the 370 model and not to noisy - id defo buy another one

I have had one of these for five years and it is a fantastic and reliable machine. I use it for everything, dust extractor, cleaning the van/car, cleaning the garage floor etc.

Pricey maybe, but I cannot recommend it enough.

Word of warning guys this carpet is also used in the events industry Marquee's etc etc if you use foam back when it gets wet it gives out a slimy soapy residue ! This comes from the manufacturing process where a form of soap is used in the foam! after a couple of soakings its normally ok but the foam goes mouldy, also another tip we generally use the carpet for one event then it gets thrown out, don't use foam back as often (price) but if you look in yellow pages for a local to you marquee co and give them a bell and ask if they have any second hand carpet they will normally have some and give it away as it's awkard to bin especially a small amount to do a van i'd also use non foam back

Ive not realy had a problem with the carpet going funny its been damp but not wet, and no mould as of yet but we keep it clean...the sides or still perfect but only time will tell
