just need to know how much lower these give and cost.......someone in the ford dealers parts dept you work in should know?

Few years ago I work with Ford, never in the parts dept though

These days you find the younger generation working the parts dept, only to push a few buttons then read what on the screen.
Then only to say "we don't have that listed for your vehicle" when searching for parts via Reg No. Or when you require a part & explain to them what it is & to cross reference a partical part, to see what other vehicles it is also fitted too.
Chap at the counter looks alittle bewildered (A few other members have been in this situation)

It's quicker if you just give them the part No, saves time & you get what you ordered

Agree they should know what the ride height would be, unfortunately they don't know.
& I can't answer that question until I have fitted mine.

PayPal will refund you, they are ruthless.

Looks like I'm getting nowhere with seller - claims there nothing is wrong with gearbox
which is anoying as I was planning on getting new engine in with gearbox this weekend.

So now in the hands of Ebay/Paypal to sort out.

Now looking for another 6sp gearbox
One from ebay is being returned to seller - Ebay's instructions to get refund. Seller could not be bother to respond

Old engine is out & will steam clean the entire engine bay, before fitting later wiring loom (Pics will follow shortly)

Obtained the Auto wipe/light sensor - upgrade for automatic wipers & headlamps

Have not done anything more to my connect yet - currently sorting driveway out

Anyway as later wiring is equipped with heated windscreen, Obtain this switch from a late mk3 Mondeo.



& these are the new rear springs which I will be fitting once new engine is in place.

Yes they are the Ford less attitude/ride height ones

Once fitted I will post here on how much the ride height is reduced by.

New ones are different compared to my current old ones with deflector springs

I'm fitting new ones, so old bolts will be cut off

Finally got the mounting back plate & security cover with shear bolts for ECU

Whole assembly is fitted behind O/S front wing on connect from 2006 onwards.

Still looking for a 6sp box

As for Focus gearbox, you will notice the difference, 1,2,3 gears are longer. When cruising at 60 your engine rpm would be lower than what it was with the connect gearbox.
You should also notice an increase in fuel economy as well
