What did you do to your connect today?

Hey !

I'm new Ford connect fan. I'm from Slovenia and unfortunately here is Tourneo connect very rare car. more rare than ferrari testarosa.

So, you can imagine how difficult is to get some parts. Thats whay I'm asking you, if someone knows where to get black plastic side skirts. so far I found MS Project..... about 400 eur, and on ModYourTransit...... 215 pounds ( a little better ) But I think ... a reasenoble price for those two plastic peace shouldn't be more than 50 eur.

Update on project connect 2004

After seeking fleabay for a set of full leather Mondeo ST200 seats for the connect, there was one set i was biding on but alarm bells started ringing when one bidder out bided himself 9 times so the price went up nearly £150 plus it was £100 to ship them, plus they were not in very good condition, the bolster was worn and the driver seat stitching in the join between the seat and back rest bit was starting to split, 2 days after i stopped bidding the auction was cancelled.

Anyway enough of that story back to the subject in question............Not really (done today as such) but i have snapped these bad boys which are immaculate without a scratch on them, rub a leather cleaner over them and bingo i feel like ive stolen them off the fella as i got them for a very impressive £70 and have spoken to Valetech at modyourtransit and will be getting them fitted in soon......

Sorry also forgot to mention that I've upgraded the main light bulbs to HID Xenon bulbs

if you turn the plastic intake to the right you can then use the yellow bonnet stay clip

Cool, thanks. I will do that when the dodgy ebay seller sends me a new snorkel as it has all its tabs snapped off. 2 on the snorkel and 1 at the air box end. They must have ripped it off!

i spent 2 hrs cleaning mine & putting trim restorer on i got from mod your transit & now its raining

Cleaned the cab out as its not been done for a few month and you could grow potatoes in the passenger footwell with all the mud :p thinking of buying some of the trim restorer from mod your transit. Tommorows task is to try and figure out how to work the new CD player
