I had the bonnet Ford badge erased completely together with the placeholder plastered flush and repainted. Obstructs sticker placement. Will wrap the bonnet with a matte vinyl and splash something queer on it.

Haven't been on much of late as I've been planning the transformation of the connect, getting all the bits and bobs and the donor car, so all this weekend I've got it MOT and re-striped all parts plus van for paint Monday, they will have it for 2 weeks then the BIG rebuild will take place, I've also picked up the personal plate and will posted pics once the project connect is complete

Right update on project TCFR 2004, got pics of it sprayed in ice white and looks sweet, now having the bumpers and aches done and the wheels and the rebuild for it to take place, new engines in as well and I will post loads of pics when fully complete

You can clearly see in the pictures that tyre is badly perished and cracked that would of contributed to the blow out check your other tires.

Never heard of this brand of tyre, so had a look round.

There's plenty on the Bay .......... maybe it's this baby .....

My 2 perished rear bridgestones went egg shaped. Got them replaced not immediately. Will do in future after seeing that. Was like driving fred flintstones car with a shimmy at low speed!

No g-man I bought my van off my uncle I have all the docs and receipts from new found the tyre receipt in there its approx 14 months old and done about 13k miles

I know what you mean Simon46 my I have done the same jorney from m1 junction 28 to chester-le-street 3 times now 2 I been getting 39mpg average there and back but after changing the tyres today I got 55mpg? Wtf

Changed the badge on the rear door to but left the steering wheel as looking to maybe change to a 4 spoke mondy.

Finally getting round to changing the centre facia too so will post a few pics when done as just a gaping hole at the moment!
