Changed the oil. That was easy, but had to bend my arm in about 6 places to change the filter...

New wipers (Valeo/Bosch).

Made the same error as the last time - got the factory size: 55/50 cm. As I have a banner on the top of the windscreen it clears at exactly 50 cm and consequently 50 cm is too long for the passenger side, the end is off the glass at the rest position. So I went back to the shop and got 45 cm for the passenger side and put the 50 cm one to the driver side. I'll put the factory size (55 cm) on the Connect wagon as it's also in the need for new wipers anyway and has no banner.

Remove O/S front wheel gives you easier access to oil filter 8)

I don't think 6 bends are enough if you have the Eberspächer heater installed. I'm almost thinking about relocating the filter...

Yesterday I had to take a heat gun and run around the rear doors, all doors except one front door were frozen shut. Happy days
Then I put on the battery charger, was down to 3 leds of 8 on the charger so it was due.

Today on the way home there was some imbalance from the rear wheels, don't know if I have lost a balancing weight or if the rear shocks were frozen. We've had a few weeks of arctic winter weather now and the van is starting to complain...Which reminds me that I need to fix the air con before summer, there's a leak somewhere inside the fender. If I don't fix that I will be the one complaining when it get hot

Changed 3 of 4 glow plugs. The fourth one was behind the oil stick assembly which I noticed leaking from the bottom attachment so I need to remove it some day, fully. Took me 3 hours for the whole job, had to dremel off the tips of the plug contacts (too rusty to turn) and the hands froze to the point of no compliance (-6C outside).

Started right up with just a second of hesitation. Two plugs were dead, one looked healthy.

Noticed that the left rear door didn't close at the bottom, went to adjust the striker but they aren't adjustable??
No elongated holes on the striker and the latch itself is flush with the inner door skin so that cant be moved either.
Am I missing something?

Also tried to hoist down the spare wheel but nothing happened when I turned the screw under the plug, threw in one of the summer wheels in the back of the van and made a mental note to fix the spare wheel when it gets warmer...
