Now its about time to name and shame the company that ripped you off.
All along said was injectors. Demand your money back at least.

The previous company i used are called "Injectortune", i have emailed him twice asking for my money back and surprise surprise he hasn't replied.

Next step is paypal as thats how i've paid, and basically slam him on the grounds of misdiscription and not having the correct facilities to fully carry out the work. I will obviously mention that he has refused to reply to my emails and that i have evidence that my injectors are knackered and require fully reconditioning dispite his attempts to "service" my injectors.

After speaking to Diesel Bob a few moments ago, he gave a bit more of an explaination on what my injectors failed on - i will have a report sent with my injectors.

They failed the leak off test miserably which we knew, and some injectors were overfuelling and some were underfuelling - its not a wonder my ECU was just going f~~k off every time i tried accelerating!!

They will be sending my injectors back today, hopefully get them tomorrow and put them in on Saturday morning then everything will be crossed that my van runs fine!

What is the cost to have yours reconditioned in comparison to his reconditioned units at £92 each plus vat plus send your old injectors in exchange ??

Nothing in it really as my injectors are just like everyone elses that come in on an exchange basis, they get treated the same.

I paid £88 each plus vat.

That only shows codes for the dashboard. To see the codes for the engine you have to have them read with a code reader

Well that was the best £400 i have ever spent, what a difference!!

To say i'm happy is an understatement! Just come back from a 60 mile combined motorway / A road journey and all is well, feels a bit flat to drive but now she is running without cutting out i will be giving her a good service.

Glad you've got it sorted. My van is a 230/90 and I've never had it tuned(not sure about previous owner) but pulls well and I get around 45 mpg at a steady 60-65 on motorways.

have u coded them in to the cylinders mate as they will have new correction factor codes? van wont run right till this is done and u have drove a good few miles as pilot injection will be disabled

Same as mine Graham, it feels ok low in the rev range but feels flat past 3000rpm? I'm used to a 136ps C-Max TDCi so maybe i'm expecting too much out of my van? A good service and check over is next on the agenda which will certainly help it.

One of the first things i did was put the new codes in before i fired her up for the first time, thats why i drove a long distance so things could settle. The van starts, idles and drives fine with no hesitation but feels flat past 3000rpm, even more so when in 5th. Stuck my foot down doing 65 and it felt like there was hardly anything there?

TBH i'm just glad i've got it to a drivable state.

Could still be injectors.
Personally knowing this side of diesel trade for around 16 years and trained in it, I personally don't see how Dieselbob is doing injectors for £90 per unit when the components (control valve and nozzle) are over £100 to buy from Delphi at trade price as a Delphi Agent.
I don't knock any other workshop unless I was to see an injector from him and anaylise it in person on the correct test bench. The only way I see him doing it at this price is if he is using either core nozzle or copy nozzle.
I have been asked to price match his injectors and it is impossible. No point working to loose money is there?
But alot of you guys have used him and are very happy but just putting a point across about how he could be doing them for that price as no one else can get near that price.

Excuse my naivety but what's the difference between a genuine Delphi part a core nozzle and a copy nozzle?
