thanks guys for help i shall take it out after the festive season , im pretty sure non of the slave cylinders had seals on them

its prob cheep sh*t im such a dick i always go for cheeper option but i should of learnt with cheep alternator i got only lasted few month lol so if i get a LUK slave put it in it should fix the problem

Get an luk slave and clutch kit change the lot mate or it will only have to come out again. Pitty you have had to learn the hardway buy cheap buy twice

The problem is different clutches use different reach slaves, so the wrong combination could possible pop apart and start leaking.....

eyup guys just got her out again and looked over everything and guess what dont buy cheep sh*t of net like me ive compared the slave to my old one and the new one dosnt even have a bloody seal in it no wunder oil was leaking lol does anyone have a idea how much new ones are from ford ,cheers ste

Get a complete luk kit from euro car parts it will have the luk slave in kit. And it's a PROPER clutch and slave and exactly the same as Ford would supply but a lot cheaper

As said above. I got a Sachs kit from euro car parts (cheaper than luck and Sachs use Valeo parts which ford use). I did however by a Luk slave cylinder though as it was only a couple of quid dearer.

Plus euro car parts has a sale on at the mo

Hmmm but when you start swapping parts around like that unless you fully measure everything you can end up with problems, like the slave cylinder reach, and thrust bearing surface diameter, being slightly off with the clutch forks...

Just go to euro car parts walk upto the counter and repeat to them what i type below

Can i have a complete LUK clutch kit including slave for my van REG ( tell them your reg )

The man will go of and will come back with a nice white and yellow box that will contain 3 QUALITY parts


you go home and fit them and will have peace of mind you wont be taking the box of again
