There all looking good guys 8) It would be nice if they could all stay like Valetech's first pic SLAMMED 8) Not practical though on working vans :( Remember the diesel front end is heavier than a petrol front end so Focus petrol lowering springs might settle down a bit more yet ! (caught me out on a pug 306) Not knocking it btw  I think they look so much better :D So Valetech have you looked at a normal Transit fwd rear axle set up ? Axle cant be flipped as there's not enough clearance and i'm guessing the front would have to be custom made ?

Mine has been lowered 4" on the rear by just doing the axle flip, looks ok to me, went for a drive and it's fine, i'll take some pics next week once the fronts are done.

My van won't carry any weight - just my 2 dogs.

cheers

The axle will hit the exhaust and the fuel fill pipe if you have'nt

It's difficult to tell for certain if they will fit but they are advertised as focus mk1 lowering springs, it does also say they can be used with the oe shock absorbers. Some body will just have to buy a set and try and fit them.

Get them bought then  You can't tell for certain if they will fit by the picture because that's probably just a generic picture. :) :)

Sounds like a good idea if they do fit at least it would give you the option to get the ride hight just where you want it. :)

Get them bought you know you want too

You can get different size threaded tube to make coilovers  Demon Tweeks do them and if you have there motorsport catalogue they will sell you different spring lengths & poundages, you've got to cut the spring cups off slip the sleaves over the tube couple of spot welds cooling the shocker each time  Jobs a good un 8)

I am 100% positive about that, the exhaust bend above the axle is 3" away from the axle, the bump stops will hit the axle before the axle will hit the exhaust, the same goes for the fuel filler pipe.

BOTH of these are protected by the bump stops, if you think about it then they have to be protected by the bump stops because, even if someone didn't lower their van, then there's always possibility that the van could be "overloaded" so the bump stops help protect the areas you mentioned from this.

Anyhow, here are some pics of my van with just the rear lowered (front will be done this weekend)...

I've driven it around again today and it's perfectly fine....
