clean the egr valve lol i take the van to the mechanics for them to fix the smoke that coming out from the engine and i ask them the clean the egr valve to they said ok at first when i went to pick up the van next day the guy that was working on the van he said to me they cant take the egr valve out unless the remove the engine out or move the engine forward so they can get to the exhaust manifold out and i said ok how long will that take he said i had to leave the van there 1 more day i was not happy with that i had jobs to do i needed the van he already had the van for a day all they done in 1 day was spray egr cleaner in egr valve it was ok for a week then it started smoking again in the mornings so here it is this is my problem lol

Once I have fixed oil leak from turbo, Only things left to do is get new heated wndscreen fitted, 2 new tyres for the rear.
Also when I get the time Pick up door handles that have be painted & fit them.

Still looking for door cards in Dark pewter though

You have put in some work on that van, you must be nuts! loved reading this thread, you've done so much and produced a cracking van, wish you lived next door to me!

I can't do it unfortunately it's nearly 2 hour drive to get to you.

If you willing to bring your connect across, then I can do it for you no problem.
I would take me about 1, 1/2 hours to complete. (EGR cooler & exhaust mainfold has to be removed first before I can remove inlet manifold)
Simple job for me too do so £30 will be fine

Would be easier if dropped off on a saturday morning then picked up next day (Sunday afternoon)
I have to leave for for a couple of hours for engine to cool down, before I start

I do like a good challenge...

If were to do this again.
I can do a complete conversion on & 2006-2009 connect in a week
& upgrade ECU calibration on 75ps TDCI to 90ps at the same time

wow man are you for real that sound great but i only have 1 problem how do i get back and come back the next day if its ok with you i can spend the day there lol till its done + i can watch what you doing lol
