Replaced the fuse holder for the HIDs... began to look like a police car coming down the road!

Since having the front end tidied up in the paint shop thought I'd give the engine compartment a bit of a revamp. I've also won a battery cover on ebay but not arrived yet.

my battery cover didn't fit properly for some reason :(

I had to mods a focus batt cover to get it to fit.

Not a massive job.

After messing around under the bonnet decided to paint those "tatty" wiper arms as £40 each to replace :( What a fooking nightmare getting them off! Had to use one of those little extractor tools as they were solid!!! I've now got an almighty blister on my right hand trying to tun it but eventually both came off.

Just had some soundproofing stuff delivered for the rear so probably next job but now running out of free time so will have to wait awhile for that.

Surely the connect wiper arms must be off another of Ford's models like say the fiesta. Wouldn't have thought it would be specific to the connect.

They look similar to the early Focus ones but unsure of the length and I think they are about same price. Plenty of s/h ones about but condition may have been worse than mine, £5 tin of black paint has sorted them anyway.

I just orderd a new sport badge for mine today saw a transit with one on so i swapping it from 110 sport to 140 sport little touch pick up tomz :)

Fitted mondeo handles i bought off Graham, he also told me how to fit them so a nice straight forward mod :D
