Straight fit, but you need arches and front splitter as well.

Why do you need new ones? Are they different arches?
Couldnt the old ones be used just out of interest

The bumper I want to fit is like the one you have on yours but it has fog lights in correct and I don't have the facility for fog lights in my current van (wiring etc)
Any ideas of part numbers for front bumber or a reg that the bumper comes from so I can source front bumber, arches and splitter for?
Sorry for being a pain

Best place to look is the Bay, but go for genuine. Sorry don't know the part nos. Doesn't matter about the fog lights, the bumper will fit, loads of us have done this mod on here.

I Use my fog lights, fitted with LED's as DRL. On with ingnition, off with side lights via a DRL relay. Not legal, but never had an issue at MOT time or with the rozzers

Ok thanks mate.
Will have to source bumper etc first then get all the wiring sorted for fog lights etc.

That shouldn't come as a surprise as these are the same circumference and only 15mm wider than the original tyres.... unless I've missed some other mod? :P

The original wheels / tyres where 195/65/15 91 & the new one are alot wider

Hi yes front bumper was a straight fit, but you will need the later wheel arch trims as well. As they aslo connect to the front bumper

This Headlamp switch below only turn the rear foglights on

I gave it "new" wheels, from a Mondeo, 235/45-17 97W Goodyear Excellence.

I know, but the new setup is still the same size as the old so won't foul the arches. They're only 15mm wider on each side which is nothing.

The 235/45/R17 (above) are larger and wider, but there's still plenty of clearance even with these.

Vans are designed for people with imagination. Cars are so limiting ... what can you do with them?

I did not mean tyres rubbing against the arches as there's plenty of room there. I mean the tyres are not rubbing against the inner wing splash guards that are fitted behind the front suspension legs ! when steering is on full lock. I have less then 1cm clearance between the back of rim and the suspension leg.

Image

You can't even get your finger between the rim & Suspension leg !!

Image

Also 18" Rims are far bigger & wider than 17" rims

Yes the new tyres are the same circumference / Rolling Radius, so the speedometer reading remains the same. But they are low profile & 30mm wider than the old 195 65 15 tyres

I gree that the 235/45/17 tyres are bigger but they are on smaller alloy wheels !

Now if I had fiited 235/45/18 tryes to my 18" ST alloys wheels, I would not be able to fit them on my van, Due to the tyres would be rubbing against the front suspension legs & the inner wing splash guards, Also the tyre circumference / Rolling Radius will be 10cm bigger !!

The speedometer readout would also be inaccurate. (basically you would be traveling faster than what the speedo says)
