Looks like the design got put before the board, and somebody said "It's alright but a bit angular" so somebody got a blowtorch and melted the front of the model "how's that for you now"

That caught my eye too, but I played with the Vauxhall configurator and couldn't get it to produce a vehicle with this powerhouse installed. I don't think it's available (yet?).

Maybe the Fiat-badged Doblo comes with this in the long-length heavy-duty suspension variant, but I didn't try their web-site. I felt too embarrassed to try - it would be like being caught downloading gay rather than straight porn.

I was in the Vauxhall main dealers last year and they told me this was coming, it actually is a rebadged fiat doblo

Just an update on this now it's on sale. The Vauxhall 'Wheels of Business' mag. dropped on the mat today, so if they're contacting me they must be desperate.

There's a LWB Hi-Roof model too which takes the new Combo to an unbeatable level of ugliness. It looks like somebody welded a miner's tin bath on top, and couldn't find the right size.

The 135PS engine isn't available on the LWB Hi-capacity van - only in the standard SWB van in the top 'Sportive' trim at £1500 extra. I can't believe this new van will sell as it looks so bloody awful. The Fiat Doblo version has been out for a year or so, and is still a pretty rare sight. Opinions anyone?
