Driver footwell swimming pool feature

Postby Elizabeth Dane » Mon Jun 25, 2012 9:48 pm

Hi folks, I know there are various threads regarding water in the passenger footwell but my issue is the driver side. Every time it rains I end up with a full inch of water in there. It gets in down below the flooring and comes up rough the chassis number flap.

Cleared all drainage points below windscreen, screen brand new and sealed properly. Roof rack grommets fitted and seemingly water tight. Not losing any fluid from engine and problem only happens when it rains.

The dealer I bought this van from (some of you may recall the hideous debacle) had it for an entire day last week and clearly couldn't be bothered to investigate it further. I'm at a total blank. Anyone got any suggestions at all? It's starting to smell bad in there now.

The roof rack rails and pollen filter are a bad leak problem on connect things, typical of many a ford which are specifically designed to rot from the inside out.
