Hi I've got an 04 transit connect and it has a wearing noise comming from under bonnet close to alternator took it to the garage an they reckoned it was the alternator so I had it replaced with a couple of pulleys but still the noise persists really frustrating does any1 have any ideas

I had this same noise and it was the alternator. Bought a replacement from my local motor factor for £99 and fitted it myself, took about 30 minutes.
