I've lowered the front on what I suspect are mk2 lowering springs, and used the bigger top cup obviously. I've had them on for about 2 miles and noticed the top cups don't turn with the steering so makes a lovely grinding noise and have caused the spring to pop out the cup on one side. Took them back off and the strut is very sloppy, nothing's under compression so hard to line everything up until they're compressed again. When it is compressed the base of the rubber top mount obviously grips the top cup and therefore it won't turn. Am I missing a bearing that goes between the top mount and top cup which would therefore take up the slop and allow it to turn or do I need mk2 top mounts?

Cheers
