Connect key \ remote

Hi All, Ive just got me-self a 06 connect 200s, its got CL with deadlocks but only 1 key and no remote. if i'm not mistaken (I probably am) when the van was new it would have come with one of these:

Now what I want to do is buy one of these:

Im not worried about the transponder chip, I know that will need programing to the car, I just would like to know if the 3 button remote would work with this van

Both fobs will work the CL as long as you have remote locking

Thanks for the info, are some made without remote locking then, I thought being a 06 it would have it ?

The combined fob should be between £5-£15 on eBay 2nd hand and a key blank and cutting at timpsons is about £10. Cloning your existing chip to a new chip will be the dearer part unless you use the chip out your existing key
