LPG Conversion

Thinking of converting my Commenct to use LPG using the Prins system. Has anyone any experience of this and are there any pitfalls.

cheers. Found out its 23 quid extra on my insurance. I'm presuming that fuel consumption stays the same and no damage to engine or turbo etc.

Is you connect a diesel or pertrol ?

I do know on petrol engines LPG tends to burn away the vavle & valve seats.

It's a diesel fortunately. That was one of the issues/ type of issue i was worried about but thought that it would only affect petrol engine. Fuel consumption is one of the others. No point in lower fuel price and double the fuel consumption.

I sort of looked at this when I first got my van then ruled it out due to cost plus told the conversion is not as easy as petrol engines.

lpg might be cheaper to buy but offset by the conversion cost and poor mpg, some guys on here have had a lot of probs with their petrol/lpg vans
