hi all.my dad is in the process of buying a small van.he currently has a peugeot partner but is looking for something different.he has been looking at a connect but has noticed the passenger seat is smaller then the drivers seat.why is it like this?and if possible could he swap it for another seat without changeing the seat base. .....thanks to all who reply

Mine has the smaller fold down seat and I've never had anyone complain about the size of the seat only the fact the position wasn't adjustable.

thanks westers.if he was to change the seat base .what seat could he fit without doing any modifications.only reason i am asking this is my brother is as wide as what he is tall .....thanks again

once the seat base is changed you can fit whatever seat you want, but believe me its a bit of work. I currently have half leather fiesta st seats in mine and there great. If you have a look on www.modyourtransit.com they do seat bases that allow you to fit any seat you want with only a little bit of fabricating.

not all connects was fitted with the fold down seat some had a full seat.no seat will fit in without modifcation unless you buy a full connect seat

ye the tourneo connects come with too full sized seats, but i still changed mine

not easy to get your hands on them tho
