2004 Tourneo Connect 90 diesel filling problem !!!!!!

Hi, when filling with diesel it takes forever, diesel nozzle clicks off and seems to back up taking ages to fill, just started to happen, has anyone any ideas Please ?

Give the nozzle a twist after you've put it in to make sure the internal flap is fully open. My old golf did this too and that seemed to stop it
