I recently bought a Transit connect SWB 1.8 turbo on an 04 plate
The problems are as follow:
When started on tickover there is a constant clicking noise that sounds as though it may be a pulley or powersteering pump? Much worse when cold. Does not click when driving just when engine is left to tickover.??????
The Vans revs die when it is sat ticking over however it will never stall. After it has been revved it will then still die & become lumpy tickover when left to tickover.????
Van still pulls well, no smoke or rattles (apart from the clicking)
Please help !!!
