what product is best to use for this?

Postby mattvik30 » Sun Nov 25, 2012 10:26 am

What product is best or what would you recommend for sticking the rubber trim that goes around the top of the door recess. Mine has come off again and its now leaking water with the great Scottish weather we have at the minute.

So what would you guys recommend, Tiger seal?

Cheers in advance

Tesa make some pretty amazing double sided tapes. May be worth looking into a bit of that.
There's one: It actually looks like the stuff Ford use too..

Hi, you could try number plate adhesive pads or interior mirror mounting sticky pads

If you Tiger Seal it , that ain't coming off ever again in one piece anyway.if u do go Tiger, prep it right,a good wipe wit panel wipe or thinners and scuff the paint with a scotchy pad (grey will do) or even some 800 wet n dry but use dry wipe again apply the Tiger and it will never be an issue again !!!
