Can anyone name this hose?

No, I don't mean Harry Hose or Percy Pipe

This hose comes from the water pump, I think, not sure what it connects to ..................
1.8 TDDi 2000 engine, (but in a Focus) You can see that it's leaking coolant on to the casting underneath The Ford dealer wasn't helpful when I tried to order one ..... and I really want to have another before removing it

just give Fords the part number its on there, just give it a little clean and you can see it, its something like:

XS4Q-8A56T-CA

thats what I can see BUT with a wipe you will be able to see it, it connects to a metal pipe that runs round the back of the engine

The same pipe is on my tdci 1.8 focus from water pump and part no on it is XS4Q-8A567--CC. try taking it off and clean everything and replace clips with jubilee clips

I couldn't see that number when I looked at the hose at first, and I hadn't noticed that it was visible on the photo (which I only took this morning), till you pointed it out Obviously the camera was in a better position than me

I'm pretty sure it is actually split, and not just leaking at the joint, because it's losing a lot of water in a short space of time

Just done one last week, they swell up and burst, about £15 +vat from dealers, buy 2 normal jubilee clips do away with oe ones makes job easier.

Yer just ic, I just cut old clips off and lube new pipe a little. Was fiddley but ne bova
