2002 SWB Connect rear lens lights.

Postby always1more » Mon Dec 03, 2012 6:14 pm

Hello again,

I'll have to replace the near side rear lens for the MOT in January, I bought the van 8 days ago and only seen the hole when I went to pick it up. My Question is I'd like to update the rear lens's and upto what year would new lens's fit my 2002 ....meaning if I bought rear lights for a 2006 van would they fit mine and also would the bulb holders fit ?

Thanks in advance :)

The rear light units for connects from 2002 - 2009 are all the same including bulb holders. So yes, one from a 2006 will fit your van.

The rear lights from connects 2009 onwards would also fit BUT must be complete with bulb holders as they are different from the early ones.

Thanks they do look good

If you do get a set of 2009 onwards rear lights (shown on my connect) make sure they are complete with bulb holders !

As the early bulb holders will not fit the later lenses.

Cheers taz,

Thanks for the post, bit skint here as it's Chrimbo and the Insurance on the van cost me more than I would have liked, a new lens on the auction site is £14.99 and a cpl of quid postage, that's the route I may have to take at the moment as this one will fail with the hole in it :(
