connect towbar wiring

hi, just about to tackle the towbar electrics on my van and was wondering if anyone has any experience of where is best to route the wiring to get from the towbar to rear light clusters
just wanted a heads up before i crack the drill out

How old is your connect,on my 05 model there is a rubber grommet underneath the n/s/r wheel arch liner,I took my 7 core cable in through this route & ran twin core above the back doors to the o/s/r light cluster for indicator & sidelight

Same here, Definitely didn't/wouldn't drill a hole for the cable, I took out the light cluster and pushed a stiff plastic rod down through the gromet, taped the wires to the end and pulled them back up.
