Facelift front bumper with fogs or not?

Postby Chazzer » Tue Jan 01, 2013 7:19 pm

Hi, I want to change the front bumper on my 55 plate connect to the newer facelift style,
and was wondering if it is very complicated to wire up the fog lights if I get a bumper with the holes for front fogs.

Presumably I would need a new light switch and the lights them selves. But today as I took the front bumper off to remove the headlights, I noticed that there was 2 connectors; one on each side at about where the fog lights would be connected up and taped over, does this mean the van has the wiring in place? and I just need to connect up some lamps and a new switch?

Thanks in advance
Charlie

I found that with mine but one connector was bigger than other the passages side! I hope these are the fog lights

Drivers side wire.... http://instagr.am/p/T83h7nCobE/

Passenger side ... http://instagr.am/p/T83pF9CobL/

I have been looking for the ford switch but they seem to be hard to come by!

I thought if got the ford switch and fitted fog lights and fuse then they should work if the wires are there

Here is a wiring diagram for the front fog lights

Fog lights wiring plug should be the same on each side :!:

For both plugs, there will be 2 wires - Black (GND) & Green/White (12v+)

yeah the 07-09 one, still can't even find a picture of the light switch that controls front and rear fogs, let alone find one for sale!
does anyone on here have a spare one I could buy? and what about the lights themselves? would these fit: (seems to say so)

It's the same as our light control but where you pull it out once for fog lights it pulls out twice find a van on eBay that is being broke down if it has fog lights then message them asking for the light control that's what I did £15 happy days
