Spraying Interior Plastics

Postby Bottled@Source » Thu Feb 07, 2013 6:01 pm

Has anyone done this on there connect, they grey is so grey....... :?

If so,

Is it an easy job? removal? or just a case of duck taping the inside and going careful? wash down with sugar soap?

What paint spray to use?

I have a load of Black alloy spray (5 cans) would this be to "hard" a paint?

Cheers

I've been looking at something someone else has used on here to do the arch trims. It's called plastidip. Looks like good stuff but can't find much on preparing te surface and if primer is needed or not.....well I say I can't find much, I haven't really had time to look

Try a body shop supplier they will put you right on how to prepare and what to use

Pretty sure with plasti-dip you only prime if you want a permanent coating as plasti-dip is designed to be spayed on and then peeled off. Will try and find the info thing
