Cheers but after something leather and wide really as I'm a 20stone rugby player my shoulders do not fit in the seats

Mondeo leather seat would fit, but you wil have to fabricate some new mounts for them

Or purchase a set from  http://mod-your-transit.co.uk/

What mk mondeo seats are better, what about changing the gear knob paul2012 as I know you have modded the van before.

Am I wrong or did you change the centre facia from a later model and put a Sony radio in? Was that a easy covertion or was there re-wiring to do?

In the end I bought a set of full size Connect seats off ebay and then had some covers made. Tried a pair of Recaros but found them uncomfortable on long journeys.

I had previously fitted Mondeo mk2 elec heated seats into my old 2003 connect. (which were wider than the standard connect seats)

gear knob is a very easy mod, one from a Fiesta mk6/7 will fit,

If your van is a mk1 (2003-2006) follow instrutions here  viewtopic.php?f=54&t=92502&start=885

As for the centre console, I fitted a complete dash from a 2008 model, which was a better colour than light grey

Some membes here have successfully fitted the mk2 centre console into their mk1 dash. You will require the mk2 heater controls as well & they just simply plug straight in with no rewiring.
see here  viewtopic.php?f=54&t=98332&p=835862#p835862

wiring the stereo was no problem, althought you will require the quadlock connector for the later head units.
wiring details are posted here  viewtopic.php?f=54&t=116284&start=105

I hope this helps

If your just looking for a full size passinger seat there is one on ebay. The drivers side is also listed seperate but is damaged. OK if you just want a pair to put covers on and will fit straight in.
